The Christian County/Hopkinsville Development Corporation (LDC), acting by and through Community and Development Services, seek the services of a contractor for the construction work for the renovation of the Old First City Bank Building into the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and Office of the Inspector General’s offices. The project will consist of a variety of elements including the interior remodeling of approximately 3,549 square feet of existing office space. Work includes minor demolition including removal of general construction items as well as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. New construction includes finishes, mechanical and electrical work. The bid form is included in this packet and should be completed in its entirety.

All sealed bids must be submitted to Steven R. Bourne, AICP, Director, Community and Development Services, 710 South Main Street, P.O. Box 1125, Hopkinsville, KY 42241-1125, prior to 2:00 PM, local time, Wednesday, June 16, 2021 and shall be marked “Old First City Bank CHFS/OIG Conversion.”

A PRE-BID CONFERENCE TO BE HELD ON: Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 9:00 AM.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Hopkinsville Municipal Center, Community and Development Services, Conference Room # 128, 710 South Main Street, Hopkinsville, Kentucky. It is recommended that interested contractors attend the Pre-Bid Conference or have a representative attend the Pre-Bid Conference.

Sealed bids for the Old First City Bank CHFS/OIG Conversion will be received by the Christian County/Hopkinsville Development Corporation (LDC) at the offices of Community and Development Services, 710 South Main Street, until 2:00 PM, local time, Wednesday, June 16, 2021. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time and place.
